Photography

I have loved telling stories since I was a little girl, and as I got older, I couldn’t go anywhere without a camera. I was fascinated by the idea that “a picture is worth a thousand words,” and I was determined to be Fitzgerald or Dylan with a photograph.

Living in Jackson for my entire adulthood, I have always been drawn to light on landscapes. Chasing that light occupies so much of my time and pushes my creativity in the same way editing a film does. Catching wildlife in that same light is exponentially harder, and that's where I find the greatest challenge.I love the pursuit, the patience, and the moments that can't be planned. My hope is that people feel a sense of that wonder when they see my work, even if they never know the story behind the photograph

Framing Philosophy

Creating affordable, professionally framed artwork is also incredibly important to me. I spent years wishing I could support my favorite photographers, but by the time the cost of a print and custom framing were added together, it often felt out of reach. Especially in my twenties, owning a beautifully framed photograph simply wasn't realistic.

I never wanted to sacrifice quality to lower the price. After a long search, I found a wholesaler whose solid wood frames are made in Kentucky using sustainably sourced wood from Pennsylvania. Supporting American craftsmanship while keeping my work accessible was important to me. My goal is to create photographs that people can enjoy in their homes without asking them to choose between quality and affordability.
